Treatment & Cure

There is no known cure for pseudoachondroplasia yet, however, research is being done on mice to try to identify at what point in a person's life does the disorder start as an infant. 

As of right now, orthopedic surgeons perform a series of surgeries called Extended Limb Surgery which consists of using metal rods to gradually help extend the bone and muscles in both arms and legs.
